Health Check-Up
Informal Pre-School Education
Children with very low weight will be given a health check-up by a doctor and medicine within the limit of Rs.2000/-. Creamed milk and eggs are provided 3 days a week along with higher amount of food.
At the Anganwadi center, children aged 9 months to 5 years are being given Vitamin A solution by the Health Department and Albandezole tablet by the Women and Child Development Department every 6 months.

Eligibility
Children in the age limit of 6 months to 6 years and pregnant in the survey area of Anganwadi center are eligible for vaccination.
6 months during pregnancy and up to 6 months after delivery, and children from 6 months to 6 years of age and two teenage girls per centre are provided with supplementary nutritional food.
Health check-up of children, pregnant, delivered women and teenage girls is being done at the Anganwadi center.
Beneficiaries having health problems are referred to taluk and district hospitals for further treatment.
Children from 3 to 6 years of age are given pre-school Education through acting, story-telling and games.
