Horticulture Area Development and Management
: Prices of perennial major fruits in selected cluster areas such as Mango, Sapota, Guava, Lemon fruits, Pineapple, Papaya, Banana etc. and geographically identified crops such as Mysore Jasmine, Mysore Betel leaves, Nanjangudu rasabale (Banana), Hadagali Jasmine, Appe Midi Mango, Kamalapur Red Banana, Udupi Jasmine, Muttugulla Brinjal, Kodagu Orange, Pink Onion, Bangalore blue Grape, Devanahalli Pomelo(chakota) etc. And vegetable and flower crops grown in open fields, intercrops grown in palm plantations such as banana and peppercorn etc. will be subsidized.
The selected horticultural crops can be grown in a minimum of five hectares to a maximum of 40 hectares
Subsidy from minimum half acre to maximum five acres per beneficiary
90% subsidy for beneficiaries of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe farmers, 50% subsidy for beneficiaries of small and very small farmers and 50% subsidy for beneficiaries general and other category farmers.
