Scholarships to encourage higher and advanced education of children of farmers
Rs.2500/- for boys and Rs.3000/- for girls and other genders studying in PUC/ITI/Diploma before graduation.
Rs.5000/- for boys and Rs.5500/- for girls and other genders studying in B.A/B.Sc/B.Com (excluding professional courses).
Rs.7500/- for boys and Rs.8000/- for girls and of other gender for professional courses like LLB/ Para-Medical/ B-Form/ Nursing etc.
Rs.10,000/- for boys and Rs.11,000/- for girls and of other genders for MBBS/B.E/B.Tech and all post-graduate courses.
Rs.2000/- per annum for girls of farmer families for secondary education (8th to 10th std.) to encourage education and to prevent them from dropping out of school.

Eligibility
A farmer means a person who owns an agricultural land in his name and conducting agricultural activities in any part of the state.
The children of the farmers will only be eligible for one such scholarship paid by the grant of the State of Karnataka.
If both parents are the owners of agricultural land, the children of farmers will be eligible for only one scholarship under the scheme.
Students who have repeated their studies/taken a re-examination/failed will not be eligible for scholarships.
The scholarship will be given for any one type of course.
