Benefits

• Providing loan from bank and subsidy from the department to the beneficiaries on purchase of dairy/sheep/goat/pi/poultry
• Improving the economic conditions of the farmers by increasing the livestock products such as milk, meat and egg production

Subsidy

• Subsidy for setting up two cow/buffalo dairy unit: Rs. 1,20,000/- (Unit amount)
• Subsidy for setting up 10+1 goat/sheep unit: Rs: 67,440/-
• Subsidy for setting up 3 goat/sheep unit: Rs: 10,000/-
• Subsidy for establishment of 10 piglet unit: Rs: 94,000/-
• Subsidy for establishment of 10 piglet fattening unit: Rs: 99,350/-
• Establishment of Poultry unit: Subsidy for establishment of 500 poultry unit: Rs: 85,000/-
• Establishment of Poultry unit: Subsidy for establishment of 500 250 egg poultry unit: Rs: 1,09,000/-
• Subsidy for establishment of 100+4 sheep, goat unit: Rs: 5,25,000/-

Eligibility

• Small and very small farmers will be considered as beneficiaries of “Livestock” scheme
• He/she must be a member of Milk Producers cooperatives
