The efforts of the Karnataka Government to provide information, inspiration and training to youth under a single roof is actualized in the form of Yuva Sabalikarana Kendras. These Kendras are established one per district, in all districts, at the respective Lead Government First Grade Colleges. These Kendras aim at creating awareness about career choices and Opportunities in Higher Education, in fields opted.

Detailed information will be provided to youth regarding Opportunities in Higher Education and job openings that the youth can choose from, eligibility criteria, preparations that these career and academic pursuits demand, Higher Education Institutions offering courses and Departments/Companies that propose to provide jobs desired by young aspirants at Yuva Sabalikarana Kendras.
Particulars of various schemes implemented for youth by different Government Departments are available at these Kendras. For example, information will be furnished about schemes like Pradhan Mantri Koushalya Vikas Yojana (PMKVY), Deen dayal Upadhyay Grameen Vikas Yojana (DDUGVY), National Rural Livelihoods Mission (NRLM) implemented by the Central Government and Chief Minister’s Koushalya Karnataka Yojana (CMKKY), Self Employment Scheme and Land Purchase Scheme mooted by Dr.B.R.Ambedkar Development Corporation, Students’ Welfare Scheme, Incentives to High School students, Adventure Sports Camps, Youth festivals conducted by the Department of Youth Empowerment and Sports and the like.
Information about various scholarships given, hostels run, training programmes organized by the Government are available in Yuva Sablikarana Kendras. Details of youth related programmes, Job fairs, scholarships given by Non-Government Agencies can also be obtained at these Kendras.
Details of Higher Education Institutions in various parts of the state and courses offered thereof, Online platforms offering MOOCs, Online Job Portals and short term workshops regarding soft skills, preparations for competitive examinations and personality development will be conducted at these Kendras.
