Must belong to Backward Classes Category-1, 2A, 3A and 3B. (Excluding Vishwakarma, Uppara, Ambiga, Okkaliga, Veera Shaiva Lingayat, Maratha, Savita Samaj and Madiwala with their sub-castes, Kadugolla, Hattigolla, nomadic/semi-nomadic communities)

• Annual family income should be between Rs.40,000/- for rural areas and Rs.55,000/- for urban areas.
• Age of applicant should be between 18 to 55 years.
• Should be a permanent resident of Karnataka state.
• Should not have availed the facility under the schemes of the corporation earlier.
