Benefit

• “Individual Irrigation Borewell Scheme: Minimum 1 acre of land is required in Udupi, Dakshina Kannada, Kodagu, Uttara Kannada, Chikkamagaluru, Shimoga and Hassan districts. In the remaining districts there should be at least 2 acres of contiguous land at one place.
  Unit Cost: Rs.2.50 Lakhs. Rs. 2.00 lakhs subsidy and a loan of Rs. 50,000/- at an interest rate of 4% per annum. Rs. 2.00 lakhs subsidy will cover cost of drilling borewell, installation of pump set and supply of ancillary materials at Rs. 1.50 lakhs.”
• Rs. 50000/- per borewell will be paid for Electricity Supply Companies as electrification expenses following the electricity connection to the borewells is complete and RR No. is given,
• In Bangalore North, Bangalore South, Bangalore Rural, Ramanagara, Kolar, Chikkaballapur, Tumkur districts, the unit cost of individual borewell is Rs. 4.00 lakhs, out of which Rs. 3.50 lakhs will be subsidy and Rs. 50000/- will be a loan.
• “Collective Irrigation Borewell Scheme: Collective irrigation facility for holdings of 8 acres and above, consisting at least 3 small and micro farmers belonging to Category-1, 2A, 3A & 3B.
  Unit cost: Two borewells at a cost of Rs. 4.00 lakhs for 8-15 acres of land, and for a land having more than 15 acres, a fixed unit cost of Rs. 6.00 lakhs that includes drilling of 3 borewells, supply of equipment and a deposiit for electrification to provide irrigation facilities. The full amount shall be in the form of an aid.
  Open well: Open well irrigation facility in coastal and hilly districts at unit cost fixed for individual irrigation borewell scheme.”
• Collective Lift Irrigation Project: Irrigation facility for dry lands through pipelines by installing motors to water resources like rivers, lakes and wells which are permanently available at the ground level.
• “Provision of facility at fixed unit cost for mass irrigation scheme.
  For this program, as per the financial target set for the respective assembly constituency, the reservation ratio is 70% for category-1 and 2A and 30% for category-3A and 3B.Repayment term: Loan repayment term shall be 3 years.”

Subsidy

A loan of Rs. 50,000/- at an interest rate of 4% per annum. Subsidy of Rs. 2.00 lakhs
