Women above 18 years in need of care and protection and cases registered by courts under the Immoral Practices (Prevention) Act, 1956 and residents of girls’ orphanages who have completed 18 years of age will be admitted for long-term rehabilitation.
Residents in the institution will be provided care, nutrition, food, shelter, clothing, medical facilities, protection and training.
Female residents of long-term rehabilitation centers are routinely released as per the rules if their parents want to take custody of them.
Marriages are also performed in case of eligible marriage proposals for residents in the institution. A total of Rs. 20,000 is provided for this purpose, Rs. 5,000 for marriage expenses and remaining Rs. 15,000 will be deposited in the name of the resident.
