For women from families of landless agricultural laborers belonging to Scheduled Castes

Eligibility

• The beneficiary should be a female candidate of a landless agricultural laborer family belonging to Scheduled Caste
• Should not have previously borrowed from the Corporation and should not be in default
• Land owner should not belong to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe
• Land Dispute P.T.C.L. Act, Land Reforms Act, Land Sanctions Act, Forest Act and other acts should not be in violation. Must be cultivable land or a land under cultivation. Original documents of the land, like registration, sanction letter, Khata, RTC, E.C., No-Due Certificate brom bank and consent letter from the land owner should be obtained and after inspecting the site, the District Manager should submit them with this report to the District Purchase Committee. This committee is chaired by the Deputy Commissioner and consists of Social Welfare Officer, Principal Agriculture Officer, Assistant Commissioner, Government Land Scientists as members and District Manager as Member Secretary. The District Manager will seek the opinion of Assistant Commissioner, Tahsildar, Agriculture Officer, Horticulture Officer, Silk Department Officers about all the lands.
• Photographs of land owners and beneficiaries must be obtained with the applications
• Under Land Ownership Scheme 2.00 acres of dry land or 1.00 acres of land/shared land will be purchased and given from owners belonging to non-Scheduled Caste.
• Minimum and maximum age of beneficiary should be 18 and 50 years respectively.
• The land should be shown to the beneficiary and discuss the price that can be fixed based on his opinion and fertility and availability of ground water, in the office of the Sub-Registrar. The price of the land will be fixed by the District Committee taking into account the registered price of the registered documents, the price of the neighboring land and the local market/guideline price.
• At the time of land deed registration, the mortgage deed should also be registered, the pledge to the corporation should be recorded, the deed should be obtained and kept in the file of the beneficiary, and the land should be measured by the land surveyor, demarcated and handed over to the beneficiaries, and a certified copy should be kept in the file.

• In the District Committee proceedings, the respective land should be proposed and the price fixed for each land should be confirmed as appropriate.
• Site inspection report of land by District Manager/Taluk Development Officer in prescribed Form-2.
• Tahsildar’s report in Form-1 about the land not covered by PTCL, Land Grant, Land Reforms Acts and there is no surveyor and about the nature of the land.
• Latest land registered price guideline price details of the said village.
• Latest RTC of the land with the crop mentioned in it.
• No-Due Certificate from Bank (from all banks of that region)
• Rough map
• Encumbrance Certificate
• Land owner’s consent letter.
• Legal Opinion
• CD of the videography
• Confirmation letter from Irrigation Department in case of Tari/Bagayath land
• Caste certificate of land owner
• Certificate of agricultural labor obtained from Tahsildar.
• Application, caste and income certificate, ration card.
• Form-3 attested by District Manager.
