To prevent shortage of water for farmers crops due to severe drought, 50% subsidy will be given to general category farmers and 90% subsidy to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes farmers who bought water tankers.
General farmers will get 50% subsidy of Rs. 62,500 and 70,000 respectively for purchase of 4000 liter and 5000 liter water tankers. 90% subsidy of Rs. 12,500 and 126,000 will be given to scheduled caste and scheduled tribe farmers for purchase of 4000 liter and 5000 liter water tanks.
