Ashadeepa Scheme

Benefit

• To encourage employment opportunities in the private sector factories and establishments, to the candidates belonging to Schedule Cast and Schedule Tribes, the Government of Karnataka has framed a scheme called “ ASHADEEPA SCHEME”. The said scheme is being implemented through “Karnataka State Workers Welfare and Social Security (Ashadeepa Scheme) Society (R)”.
• To create employment opportunities to the candidates belonging to SC and ST categories .
• To improve the socio – economic condition of SCs and STs.
• To encourage the employment of SC s and STs, the contribution towards ESI and EPF paid by the employer for such candidates is being repaid to such employers.
• Repayment of Stipendiary amount to the employer, paid to the apprentice trainees.
