Under this scheme the financial assistance will be extended to the Scheduled Tribe women members of the Self help groups to engage them in income generating activities. The quantum of assistance is Rs. 25,000/- per member consisting of Rs.15,000/- subsidy and loan of Rs.10,000/- and the maximum assistance of Rs.2.50 lakhs will be released to the Self Help Group.
Subsidy
Interest will be charged at the rate of 4 per cent per annum on loans released to self-help groups. The loan amount is to be repaid to the Corporation in monthly/quarterly installments over a period of 3 years along with interest.
