Benefits

• Incentive subject to the prescribed amount per month, at the rate of Rs.100/- per kg for ‘A’ grade Bivoltine raw silk, and Rs.150/- per kg for ‘2A’ and above grade quality Bivoltine raw silk

Eligibility

• Should be a State ARM Silk yarn reeler licensed by the department
• Registered Bivoltine sericulturists are eligible to avail the incentive
• The bivoltine raw silk incentives are limited to one established unit per reeler and to a fixed amount of production and for a fixed period of time.
• The entire proposal for raw silk incentives must be submitted to the relevant technical service center (reeling) officers / post-cocoon activity officers within 30 days of the sale of the silk in the prescribed format.
• The incentive proposal should be limited to the silk production of one established unit.

Documents to be submitted

• Certification by concerned Market officer regarding purchase of silk cocoons from State Silk Cocoon market
• If silk cocoon is purchased through ‘contract farming’, copy of agreement with the cultivator and certification by the regional field officers of the silk crop and cocoon yield obtained
• Transaction record obtained from the concerned Silk Exchanges Officers in form 17-J, pertaining to the trading of bivoltine raw silk produced in the unit at the state silk exchanges
• If sold directly to registered silk traders /entrepreneurs, copy of Traders’ license / GST registration of concerned buyers with certification of transaction bills by post cocoon activity officer
• Copy of Reelers license
• Copy of Aadhar card
• Saving bank account number(Aadhar linked)- Copy of passbook containing Name, Account number and IFSC code details
