Eligibility

• Should be a state silk yarn reeler licensed by the department.
• Caste certificate
• Only one member of a family’s ration card is eligible to avail subsidy facility of the program.
• The beneficiaries’ selection is based on seniority of the application.
• The land / property identified for the establishment of reeling shed must be in the name of the applicant and should have relevant account
• Reeling shed should be constructed separate from the residential house and should be in accordance with the blueprint issued by the department
• Should have facilities of water and electricity

Documents to be submitted

• Copy of Reelers License if applicant is reeler
• Copy of bank passbook
• Copy of Aadhar card
• Caste certificate
• Documents of land/property
• Confirmation of other members of the family not receiving this privilege
• Confirmation on not availing subsidy under other schemes for the construction of the reeling shed
• For the grant of subsidy to the Reeling Shed, the beneficiary must mortgage the property to the name of the sericulture department for five years and enter it into a debt-free certificate.
• Confirmation from the concerned Nagara Sabha / Grama Panchayat Officers regarding not availing subsidy under the Government Housing Scheme for the constructed Reeling Shed
