Eligibility

• Those who wish to obtain a subsidy for a Bivoltine Chawki Centers should provide certification that they are registered under the Central Silk Board Act for Bivoltine Chawki rearing.
• The Chawki Rearing Center should be away from late age silkworm rearing building, the building should be within the chawki plantation and should be constructed as per the prescribed design.
• Beneficiary Should have minimum of 2 acres of own/leased irrigated Mulberry plantation with mandatory drip irrigation for chawki plantation
• The capacity should be to produce 1.50 to 1.60lac Bivoltine cocoon annually
• Should have certificate of training related to Bivoltine Chawki rearing from state/central sericulture training centres
• Should have purchased prescribed quantity of Chawki rearing equipments

• Current Pahani /RTC with survey number(s) of the Chawki plantation
• Original copy of the approval letter for construction of Chawki Rearing Centre from Competent Authority
• Original copy of sanctioned blueprint for the construction of Chawki rearing centre
• Estimate of Chawki rearing centre (cost estimate list)
• Certificate of procurement of Chawki rearing equipments
• Certified copy of loan sanctioned letter, If availed loan from financial institutions for Chawki rearing plantation/centre/equipments (if applicable)
• Details of registration of CRC
• Agreement on stamp paper of Rs.50/-
• Inspection by Sericulture Extension Officer of Technical Service Centre/ Verification and recommendation of the Assistant Director of Sericulture/Deputy Directors of Sericulture/ Joint Directors of Sericulture
