Subsidy to promote self-employment of unemployed youth by setting up micro-industries in rural areas of The state of Karnataka
Subsidy
A maximum of 25 percent for general category is Rs 2.50 lakh and for special category, a maximum of 35 per cent is Rs 3.50 lakh.

Eligibility
Minimum educational qualification 8th class pass
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Maximum 35 years for general category
Maximum 45 years for special category
(SC/ST/OBC/backward caste/minority/Physically Handicapped/Ex-Serviceman/Woman)
Only all manufacturing and service activities that are economically sound will be eligible for the benefit under this scheme.
There is no income limit for availing loan facility for setting up enterprises under this scheme.
Under this scheme, subsidy is available only for new units started by first generation entrepreneurs. Expansion/modernization/diversification units will not be eligible to avail the benefit of this scheme.
Units/entrepreneurs who have availed loans, other facilities in other schemes or under Pradhana Mantri Udyoga Srujana scheme will not be eligible to avail the benefit under this scheme.
