Eligibility

• Only all manufacturing and service activities that are economically sound will be eligible for the benefit under this scheme.
• There is no income limit for availing loan facility for setting up enterprises under this scheme.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have passed 8th class
• Under this scheme, subsidy is available only for new units started by first generation entrepreneurs.
• Expansion/modernization/diversification units will not be eligible to avail the benefit of this scheme.
• Units/entrepreneurs who have availed loans, other facilities in other schemes will not be eligible to avail the benefit under this scheme.
• Industries that use meat based manufacturing/service units (processing, canning), bidi, cigar, paan units, alcohol manufacturing/tobacco will not be allowed.
• Plantations such as sericulture, horticulture, animal husbandry (poultry, piggery, etc.), tea, coffee, etc. will not be allowed.
• Manufacturing of carrybags that are thinner than 20 microns, manufacturing of other products that pollute the environment. Pashmina wool processing, rural transport not allowed
