Transportation cost is given to transport Bivoltine silk Cocoons produced by sericulturist of Uttara Karnataka District to sell in any Government silk Cocoon market

Benefits

• In order to encourage the Chawki rearing in the Mysore Seed Area, 50% Chawki service cost of Rs.750/- on the total cost for every 100 eggs of Rs.1500/- is provided in private Chawki rearing centres as already being given to Bivoltine eggs.

Subsidy

• Transportation charge of Rs.10/- per silk Cocoon is paid

Eligibility

• Bivoltine sericulturist in districts of Uttara Karnataka, Bidar, Kalaburagi, Yadagiri, Raichur, Koppala, Vijayapura, Bagalkot, Ballari, Gadag, Belgaum, Haveri, Dharwad and UttaraKannada are only eligible to avail the facility
